Punit Malhotra's film continued to enjoy an average run at the box office despite the mixed reviews.

Tiger Shroff's turn as the student from Dharma Productions' Student Of The Year 2 (2019) has managed to earn Rs37.75 crore at the box office over its three-day run. After earning nearly Rs12 crore on its opening Friday, 10 May, the film added Rs25 crore over the two day weekend at the box office.
According to BoxOfficeIndia.com, SOTY2 managed to add Rs13.50 crore on Saturday and Rs12.25 crore approx on Sunday to its opening day collection. The film did see a fall in collection on Sunday owing to ongoing elections in Delhi and UP regions.
However, this still makes for a below average weekend for Punit Malhotra's film. The sequel to the 2012 film, Student Of The Year, received mixed reviews by critics and fans alike.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Endgame (2019) continued to hold well on its third weekend with a collection of Rs13.75 crore approx. This takes the collection of the film to Rs348 crore approx over the same period. The film will see a further drop in the next week, but will comfortably clear the Rs350 crore mark.
