Amitabh Bachchan has revealed his look in his upcoming thriller Chehre. The actor sports a never-seen-before avatar in the Rumi Jaffery directorial.
The actor has played aged characters quite a few times before, but this time he is looking way different from his previous such avatars. He has an unusual green cap. But more noticeable is his beard. While we have seen him in a beard before, the actor has it tied like a ponytail this time.
The appearance is quite the experiment from the veteran actor. The look brings back memories of his cameo in Shaad Ali’s Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007), with the exception of the ponytailed beard.
The film sees Bachchan play a lawyer once again after his recent films Pink (2016) and Badla (2019). Chehre went on floors on last week on 10 May.
This is the first time that Emraan Hashmi will be sharing the screen with Bachchan. The actor had shared his excitement of working alongside the veteran on Twitter last month. He had said, “Super excited to share screen space with @srbachchan sir in @anandpandit63’s next production venture, directed by #RumiJaffery! Releasing on 21st February 2020.”
The actor also shared an interesting trivia the next day related to his grandmother and Bachchan. He said, “An uncanny coincidence: Yesterday was my first scene with Mr. Bachchan and in the course of our conversation just realised that yesterday was also 46 years of #zanjeer a film in which my grandmom played a small role as his mother.”
