Aditya Roy Kapur's character, Dev, is the latest to join Varun Dhawan in the flurry of new first look posters unveiled by the Kalank team. The Dharma Productions film, directed by Abhishek Varman, features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.

The poster captures Roy Kapur standing in the middle of a street, facing an angry mob, armed with just a sword. The car burning on the side of the street adds to the entire atmosphere.
Kalank is a period drama set in the 1940s, the decade of turbulence leading up to the key moment of India's Independence and Partition. The fiery tone of the posters and the serious nature of Dhawan and Roy Kapur's character suggests that the story might revolve around the violent riots caused by the division of India and Pakistan.
The poster also suggests that Roy Kapur's character hails from a more affluent family, as depicted from his kurta and the streets where he stands.
Roy Kapur's character reveal is the second poster of the day, following Dhawan's character Zafar earlier in the day. The team has been tagging the posters with #MenOfKalank' suggesting a likelihood that Sanjay Dutt's character reveal will follow on the same day.
Kalank is directed by Abhishek Varman and is scheduled for release on 19 April.
