Touted as one of the biggest Indian superhero films in recent years, director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra has finally got its first logo art.
The artwork was released by Mukerji on his own Instagram account, which he opened yesterday.
The director shared the image of the two heroes in the film, played by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, locked in an embrace as meteors stream around them.
Part 1: Love #brahmastra (P.S.: going to take some getting used to this new Instagram life)

The logo features the protagonists in a tight embrace. Mukerji tagged it with the quote 'Part 1: Love #brahmastra', perhaps implying that the focus of the first part of the franchise will involve Kapoor and Bhatt's characters, and their love as the key element.
However, the logo also gives a glimpse of the superhero element in the film. Kapoor's character also seems to be protecting his love from the fiery meteors that surround them.
Mukerji had earlier accompanied Kapoor, Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan as they launched the logo at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj (Allahabad) in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
The film, currently in production, is the first of a three-part franchise by Dharma Productions. Kapoor is expected to play Shiva, the superhero, while Bhatt essays the character of Isha.
The names were revealed by Mukerji in an earlier post featuring the duo standing on the banks of a ghat in Allahabad.
The film also features Bachchan and Telugu star Nagarjuna in key roles.
Brahmastra, the first film, was initially scheduled to be released on the Independence Day weekend of 2019 but has since been postponed to Christmas this year.
