Diljit, Kriti-starrer Arjun Patiala release postponed to 19 July

After Soorma (2018), fans of Diljit Dosanjh would have been eagerly awaiting his next, a rom-com in which he plays the title role with Kriti Sanon. The film has now been delayed to 19 July from its original release date of 3 May.

The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan, Sandeep Leyzell, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, also stars Varun Sharma. The co-producers T-Series made the announcement today.

This now opens the 3 May weekend for other films to release. Arjun Patiala will now open against Sunny Deol’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, a romance story that introduces his son, Karan, and newcomer Saher Bamba.

The romantic comedy stars Dosanjh as a police officer who goes up against Sanon’s character of a crime reporter. Arjun Patiala, directed by Rohit Jugraj, has been written by Ritesh Shah and Sandeep Leyzell. The film also features music by Sachin-Jigar.
