Aamir Khan is all set to reunite with his Dangal (2016) director Nitesh Tiwari for a cameo in the latter’s upcoming film Chhichhore. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Aamir will be shooting his part in the film soon.

“Aamir and Nitesh share a great bond and wanted to collaborate on something special after Dangal. So, when Nitesh shared the idea of the cameo, Aamir really liked it and was keen to be a part of the project. Once the formalities are locked, they will zero in on the dates of the shoot for this really special role,” a source told the publication.

Interestingly, in Rajkumar Hirani’s PK (2014), Aamir had a full-fledged role while Sushant had an extended cameo. The tables have turned now in Chhichhore as this time Aamir will play a cameo in a film primarily starring Sushant. In a way, it will be like returning the favour.

This is Tiwari’s next film as director after the hugely successful Dangal. The film was based on the real story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita Phogat (Sanya Malhotra) in becoming champion wrestlers. The film became the highest grossing Hindi film as it earned Rs374.53 crore in India.
