Actress Priyanka Chopra might have gone under the radar professionally since her wedding, but the actress continues to make her mark in the international market. Chopra has now been named among the 50 most powerful women in the world by the USA Today magazine. The actress joined a list of achievers like Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, pop icon Beyonce, talk show hosts Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres on the list.

The actress has been a popular figure in the United States of America since her debut on ABC Network's Quantico, followed by her Hollywood movie debut, Baywatch (2017).

Speaking to daily Hindustan Times, Chopra said, "For me, power is simply an energy that empowers me to do what I love. It’s the ability to open doors, and turn my dreams into a reality of what I was destined to do. I feel privileged to share this platform with these amazing women who have each pushed through their own challenges and created their own realities and today stand shoulders above everyone in their chosen careers. It does give one a feeling of achievement."

The actress has previously been listed on Forbes magazine's List of 100 most powerful women in 2018, followed by Variety magazine's list of 500 Influential People.

Chopra is currently working on The Sky Is Pink, opposite Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, and also has a couple of productions for her company, Purple Pebble Pictures, in the pipeline.
