Along with biopic, web-series on Narendra Modi is also in the making

The 10-episode web-series based on the life of the prime minister will be premiered on the Eros Now digital platform in April.

Even as a biopic on prime minister Narendra Modi, featuring Vivek Anand Oberoi, reaches its final filming schedule, Eros Now has announced a ten-episode web-series based on the life of the Bharatiya Janata Party politician.

The series will be helmed by director Umesh Shukla, who directed OMG: Oh My God! (2012) and 102 Not Out (2018).

The series is likely to be released on the digital platform in April, coinciding with the general election in India, which is being held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May.

The series will feature Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma and Mahesh Thakur in the role of Narendra Modi at different age groups. The 10-epsidoe series will likely see the journey of the prime minister from the age of 10 till date.

This is the second project revolving around the prime minister's life after Omung Kumar's PM Narendra Modi. That film is also expected to be released in April 2019.
