Actors Prabhu Deva, Mohanlal and Manoj Bajpayee and singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan were among the many artistes from the film industry to be presented with Padma awards at a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi today.
The late Kader Khan was also honoured posthumously with a Padma Shri at the ceremony.

Prabhu Deva, Manoj Bajpayee, Shankar Mahadevan and drummer Sivamani were among the names presented with the Padma Shri this year.

Kader Khan was also honoured posthumously with a Padma Shri. A prolific writer and actor, Khan passed away on 1 January this year.
Among the other Padma Shri awardees were India's football captain Sunil Chhetri and former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir.
Folk singer Teejan Bai and theatre director/actor Balwant Moreshwar Purandare were presented with the Padma Vibhushan.
Actor Mohanlal was presented with the Padma Bhushan award. The actor had been honoured with a Padma Shri back in 2001.
