The revamped Roxy cinema at Charni Road in South Mumbai was reopened to the public on Eid, 5 June. The first film to be screened there after the theatre's second relaunch was Bharat (2019), starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The new and refurbished theatre seats 343 and has a state-of-the-art JBL sound system and a Clarus 2.7 screen, one of the best for screening films. It also offers a scrumptious range of food and beverage options and its interior design has been upgraded as well.

Movie buffs now have a new destination to go in South Mumbai. They can follow the latest updates on social media channels on Facebook and Instagram and also book their tickets on the ticketing website bookmyshow.com.

Roxy, one of Mumbai's older theatres which used to screen Hollywood movies in the distant past and then fell on hard times in the 1980s, was revamped a couple of decades ago and did good business for a while, but then it was shut again.
