While the critics have not been too kind to Omung Kumar B's PM Narendra Modi (2019), the biopic of India's serving prime minister managed to touch a nett collection of Rs20 crore in domestic ticket sales in its second week at the box office.

Meanwhile, Akiv Ali's directorial debut De De Pyaar De (2019) continued its strong run earning Rs7.75 crore on its third weekend, according to BoxOfficeIndia.com.

The Akiv Ali film managed to earn Rs1.75 crore on Friday, Rs2.50 crore on Saturday and Rs3.50 crore on Sunday. The increased earning is a sign of the popularity of the film starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh. This takes the film's total earning to Rs85.20 crore nett approximately.

PM Narendra Modi, meanwhile, finished its second weekend with Rs9.25 crore nett, according to BoxOfficeIndia.com. This takes the film to the Rs20 crore mark.

Both films are expected to see a sharp drop in collections with the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat (2019) taking over screens from 5 June. The other Hollywood films in the running, Aladdin and Godzilla 2, added to the reducing collection for the Hindi films.

While Aladdin touched the Rs40 crore mark in its second week, Godzilla 2 had a less than favourable opening with Rs15 crore on its four-day opening weekend.
