Rangoli Chandel accuses Aditya Pancholi of extorting 'Rs1 crore for grocery bills' from sister Kangana Ranaut

Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to lash out against actor Aditya Pancholi for extorting Rs1 crore from her sister, Kangana Ranaut, back in 2007. Chandel alleged that Pancholi had claimed to have supported Ranaut during her struggling years, and extorted the money from her. 

In separate matters, a First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against Pancholi on Thursday, 27 June, under sections of rape and extortion by an actress. The actor has denied the allegation and stated that he has been 'falsely implicated'. 

In her series of tweets, Chandel wrote 'Whoever it may concern, complain against Pancholi had been lodged in 2007 for physical abuse harassment and extortion, he has taken more than 1cr from Kangana saying he has fed her for 3 months when she was homeless ( grocery bill of three months)...(contd)' 

Chandel clarified that the case had been filed for Pancholi's transgressions back in 2016. She said, "but he wanted more money after that, last message of extortion I myself received from him was in 2016 which has been submitted to cops and now FIR has been lodged, she had absolutely no time for all this...(contd)" 

She added that Ranaut has 'no time' for the case, and that Chandel is handling it on the actress's behalf. 

Earlier, Pancholi and his wife, actress Zarina Wahab, had filed a defamation lawsuit against the two sisters for their comments on television and social media.
