Prabhu Deva's Dabangg 3 lost a major cast member when Vinod Khanna passed away in 2017. Now his role will be essayed by his brother, Pramod.
The makers of the film released a new video with Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva welcoming the latest cast member into the team.

While Pramod Khanna does share the looks of his late brother, it remains to be seen if the acting genes are the same. This will be Pramod Khanna's acting debut. He had produced a film, Farebi (1974), which featured Vinod Khanna in the lead.
The introductory video captures the trio of Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and director Prabhu Deva introducing their latest team member. The video also makes it clear that Pramod Khanna will take on the role of Prajapati Pandey, father of Chulbul Pandey, in the film.
Dabangg 3 is the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise featuring Salman Khan. The film is being directed by Prabhu Deva, and is scheduled to be released in December 2020.
