Comic Con India has been bringing together fans of films, television, games and, of course, comics, at must-attend popular conventions for the past eight years. Every year, the community grows. Now, it gives fans a reason to tune in to their YouTube channel with a new online show.
The non-fiction series, hosted by actress-blogger Tania Dutta, will be streamed online every fortnight and take pop culture fans into in-depth conversations and insights. Two episodes of the series have already been released online.
The first episode, titled ‘What's Next for Westeros’, was aired after the end of the cult television show Game Of Thrones. The second had a more local focus and recommended top Indian comics to read in 2019.
“We are at the forefront of pop culture in India and with the massive community of pop-culture fans in India that we cater to via our conventions, we felt a series like this was the need of the hour. We hope to expand upon this and do more in the future," said Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con India.
