Kiara Advani, who is on a professional high with the release of her romantic drama Kabir Singh (2019) with Shahid Kapoor, returns to Netflix for her upcoming film, Guilty (2019).
The drama, produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic, is being directed by Ruchi Narain.

Advani's look in the film is a far cry from the sweet and docile Preeti from Kabir Singh. Advani's hair is now coloured and in curls. She wears black combat boots and a lot of plaid, rather simple pastel Indian wear.
The actress had her breakthrough in Karan Johar's short in the Netflix anthology film, Lust Stories (2018), last year. She returns to the platform for the new Narain film which will be released later this year.
In the drama, a small-town girl accuses a popular college athlete of rape. The film will examine different versions of the 'truth' and will be seen through the eyes of the young boy's musician girlfriend.
It is likely that Advani will play the part of the musician girlfriend. Her look certainly fits the bill.
This April, the streaming platform announced 10 new films to be released until 2020 for the Indian market. Guilty, produced by Dharma Productions’ digital content arm, will be their first online film.
Besides Guilty, Advani has a full lineup of films. She will be seen with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh in Good News (2019) in December, and has Laxmmi Bomb and Shershaah due for release in 2020.
