Sanjeev is a dear friend of Vijay Sethupathi and when he approached him with a role in the project, Sethupathi offered to extend support in the forming of writing the screenplay as he was already committed with multiple projects.
The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Both Vishnu and Vikranth are said to have shed weight to fit into the shoes of their respective characters.
Vikranth, who was recently seen in Tamil heist thriller Suttu Pidikka Utharavu (2019), is gearing up for the release of Bakrid next.
