With Shah Rukh Khan and son, Aryan, taking on the role of Mufasa and Simba, Disney's Lion King live adaptation in Hindi seems to be off to a good start.
The makers announced the rest of the cast for the Hindi voiceovers with Ashish Vidyarthi taking on the role of the villainous Scar. He will be joined by Shreyas Talpade and Sanjay Mishra as the comic Timon-Pumbaa duo.
The film, a computer-generated imagery (CGI) remake of the iconic 1994 animated classic from Disney, will already see Shah Rukh Khan voice the role of Mufasa, Simba's father. Khan will take on the voice that was made popular by James Earl Jones in the 1994 original.
