Saif Ali Khan, Alaia F begin shooting Jawaani Jaaneman in London

Saif Ali Khan began shooting his next, Jawaani Jaaneman, a home production, with newcomer Alaia F, in London, England. The film, directed by Nitin Kakkar, will have a 45-day schedule in the British capital.

Jawaani Jaaneman, co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Films, Saif Ali Khan's Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films, had its mahurat shot in London. Pooja Bhagnani was on hand to give the mahurat clap.

Two days prior to shooting, Khan and Alaia took in the India - Pakistan match at the ongoing cricket World Cup. Coincidentally, the match was held on Father's Day. The actor and newcomer play father and daughter in the film.

Veteran actor Kabir Bedi wished his granddaughter Alaia on her new venture and sent the team all his love and blessings. Alaia is the daughter of Pooja Bedi and Farhan Furniturewalla.

Jawaani Jaaneman also features actresses Tabu and Kubbra Sait. Khan's wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, is also in London shooting for her film, Angrezi Medium (2020), directed by Homi Adajania. It is rumoured that she might have a special cameo in the film.
