Box office: Swapnil Joshi’s Mogra Phulaalaa earns Rs1.45 crore on its first weekend

Director Shrabani Deodhar’s Marathi movie Mogra Phulaalaa was released on Friday 14 June across Maharashtra. The film stars Swapnil Joshi with Neena Kulkarni, Sai Deodhar, Sandeep Pathak and Chandrakant Kulkarni.
The film has earned a decent amount in the first three days of its release by registering a collection of Rs1.45 crore nett. As per figures shared by the producers, the film’s numbers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday were Rs37.5 lakh, Rs56.2 lakh and Rs51.5 lakh nett, respectively.
The slight dent in the numbers on Sunday can be attributed to the big World Cup match between India and Pakistan.
Well-known trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh too shared the box-office collections of Mogra Phulaalaa.

The film tells the story of Sunil Kulkarni (Joshi) who is a software engineer and his mother (Neena Kulkarni). Sunil is unmarried though he is well into his thirties as he was busy with family responsibilities and is also a bit of a mama's boy. But when he meets a divorced mother of one in the same age group, played by Sai Deodhar, sparks fly.
