The trailer of Haranath Chakraborty’s upcoming horror comedy Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd is out, and there seems to be a lot of adventure going on in terms of ghost-hunting. Also, there is a suggestion of rivalry among the mortals in the story.

Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd features Soham Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Bonny Sengupta, Rittika Sen and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead. Veteran actor Paran Bandopadhyay, Kaushik Sen, Shantilal Mukherjee and Sumit Samaddar also play crucial characters in the film.

The trailer begins with Soham claiming that his late great grandfather had a deep interest in ghosts and died of a paranormal attack. Along with his two unemployed friends, played by Bonny and Gaurav, Soham decides to start an enterprise called Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd to eradicate evil spirits.

Amidst the adventures that follow, the trio gets hold of a unique machine called ‘Bhootjantra’, or Ghost Machine, with which they prepare to hunt down ghosts. A family inhabiting a haunted house invites them over to solve its problems. Srabanti and Rittika seem to be members of the family. As they explain their strange encounters, the young men are encouraged and set out on a mission to win them over.

However, with the introduction of various other characters, including that of Kaushik Sen, the case gets complicated. Kaushik Sen tries to prove the existence of ghosts and raises suspicion regarding the family members and certain conspiracies involving them.

There are enough visuals in the trailer to invoke horror, including one of the eyes coming out of the sockets of a ghost, blood, and a hand expanding its length unusually. Haranath Chakraborty has undoubtedly used the usual motifs of horror films.

The comedy elements are mostly in the sequences when the trio gets a dose of its own medicine. In many scenes, they are seen falling unconscious in fear or failing to hold their nerve while fighting the 'evil' forces.

While Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd is going to be a shift from Bonny Sengupta's previous romantic comedies, his avatar seems to be a continuation of the ones he has portrayed in most of his films. While he and Soham Chakraborty have been paired with the two leading ladies, Gaurav Chakrabarty's single status gives rise to curiosity about his role.

A release date for Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd has not been declared yet. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you would like to watch this film.
