Girlfriend teaser 3: Amey Wagh believes good boys are ‘human dustbins’

In a surprising move, the makers of Girlfriend have come up with the third teaser of the film. It gives more insight into the life of Nachiket, played by Amey Wagh. The film also stars Sai Tamhankar in a pivotal role. 

We get to know that Nachiket’s life is sadder than what we had seen in the first teaser, which focussed on his character. His birthday falls on 14 February, which is celebrated as Valentine’s Day world over. Unfortunately, he has never had a Valentine. 

Nachiket is a good boy with good habits. He feels this is the reason that no girl has ever been interested in him. As per his belief, good boys are ‘human dustbins,’ someone who have to tolerate the sad stories of girls when they need. 

Although this might sound sad, the film tackles the situation in a light-hearted and funny manner. It seems the film takes on the issue of the pressure boys undergo to woo a girl in their lives by looking at the funny side of it. 

It seems that Wagh fits the character to the T, especially with his bearded look with spectacles. 

Directed by Upendra Sidhaye, Girlfriend (2019) is releasing on 26 July.
