‘Yeshil Tu’ song from Miss U Mister has Sonu Nigam’s stamp all over it

As we know from the trailer and an earlier song ‘Tujhi Athavan’, director Sameer Ramesh Joshi’s Miss U Mister (2019) is about a long distance relationship between a married couple played by Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Chandekar. 

But the song ‘Yeshil Tu’ reveals a further development in the life of the couple and it’s not a pleasant one. Kaveri (Deshpande) is severely upset and offended by her husband Varun (Chandekar). Hence, she is avoiding him at all costs. Throughout the song, one can see how she doesn’t even sit or stand anywhere close to him. 

Going by her behaviour, it seems Varun’s disgression has been very serious. What exactly has he done, will be known in the movie. It seems this will make up the latter portion of the story. 

‘Yeshil Tu’ has Sonu Nigam’s stamp all over. The star singer is known for getting involved deeply in such emotional romantic numbers and this is exactly what he has come up with here while rendering Vaibhav Joshi’s soulful lyrics. Alap Desai’s music is proportional to the pitch of Nigam’s voice. He has used various instruments which suit the song. 

Miss U Mister, which also stars veteran actress Savita Prabhune, is all set to release on 28 June.
