Director Aditya Dhar’s Uri: The Surgical Strike made an impressive Rs 244 crore at the box office, setting a very high bar for new films. However, it looks like Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Kabir Singh is set to cross the number set by the Vicky Kaushal-starrer.
Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, remained unstoppable even on its third Monday (8 July) as it bagged Rs4 crore, as per figures shared by Boxofficeindia.com. The grand total of the film now stands at Rs237.06 crore.

The film is made at a budget of Rs60 crore. With the kind of numbers it has gained at the ticket window, Kabir Singh is a blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Anubhav Sinha's Article 15 has also performed well on its second Monday. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, made Rs2 crore yesterday. It has so far earned Rs47.49 crore at the box office. Made at a budget of only Rs28 crore, the film has become yet another hit for Khurrana after last year’s Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho.
