Imtiaz Ali's hints at title for Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan romance, Aaj Kal

With the film almost wrapped up, Imtiaz Ali has finally offered a hint into the title of his upcoming romantic drama with Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. The fiilmmaker shared a picture of his two leads from their earlier script reading session, adding that they add life into the film 'AajKal'. The emphasis on the last words offers a hint into the title of the film. 

The director's post reads: 'the oxygen that makes the film breathe #aajkal @saraalikhan95 @kartikaaryan (clicked during the first few readings of the film, before shoot began)' 

The cast and crew have only recently wrapped up the shoot for the film. The chemistry between the lead pair, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, has already attracted attention. Their presence on social media has only helped raise the profile of the film. 

The tentative title, Aaj Kal, also has a relation to Ali's popular hit, Love Aaj Kal (2009) which released 10 years ago. The film also had Saif Ali Khan, Sara's father, in the lead role. 

The film is scheduled to be released in 2020.
