My character in KGF Chapter 2 is like Thanos, says Sanjay Dutt

On his 60th birthday today, Sanjay Dutt released the teaser of his upcoming film Prasthanam. But that wasn’t all, as his look from another big project, KGF: Chapter 2 was also out today. Dutt plays the antagonist called Adheera in the Yash-starrer.

At the teaser launch of Prasthanam, Sanjay Dutt spoke about his character in KGF: Chapter 2 and compared it with Thanos from the well-known Hollywood franchise, Avengers.

“Adheera’s character in KGF is very powerful. If you have seen Avengers, you would know Thanos. Adheera is just like him. He comes in the first chapter in the end. He is a dangerous character with a dangerous get-up,” he said.

The actor is seen with a terrifying look with a turban whose end covers almost half his face. Asked the reason for choosing the project, Dutt said, “I think that was a zone I was looking for.”

As per the name, KGF: Chapter 2 is the second film in the KGF series, originally in the Kannada language. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the first chapter was released in December last year and told the story of Rocky Bhai (Yash). The films also star Anant Nag, Srinidhi Shetty and Archana Jois.

The event also saw some birthday celebrations for Dutt who cut a cake in the presence of his Prasthanam co-stars Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, producer and wife Manyata Dutt and director Deva Katta.
