Here’s whom Siddharth Jadhav, Prathamesh Parab play in Khichik

Director Pritam SK Patil’s Khichik (2019) has an ensemble cast of Siddharth Jadhav, Prathamesh Parab, Rasika Chavan, Paula McGlynn, Shilpa Thakre, Anil Dhakate and Pranjalee Pawar. The first poster of the film had an interesting image of a child holding a pamphlet of four wanted criminals.

The makers have now shared a new video that gives an idea about the film’s main characters.

The film finds Jadhav playing a filmi hero while Parab is a young lover. Both actors are playing to type.  Paula McGlynn is an urban lady while Rasika Chavan takes on the role of a tough traditional woman. Anil Dhakate plays a feared man while Pranjalee Pawar plays the role of a glamorous woman.

The attire and hairstyle of Jadhav and Parab’s characters and the music in the background give a retro-Bombay feel to the movie.

Interestingly, Khichik, which signifies the clicking of a photograph, is the Marathi film debut of veteran Hindi film actor Sudesh Berry. However, the makers haven’t revealed his look yet. 

Khichik marks the directorial and writing debut for Patil. The film will be released on 20 September.
