Sudeep, Suniel Shetty's sports-drama Pailwaan to be released on 12 September

Suniel Shetty's Kannada debut in Pailwaan is set to arrive in theatres on 12 September. The film, featuring Sudeep, and directed by S Krishna is a sports biopic that will feature Sudeep in the role of a wrestler.
The film is set to be released in five languages: Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The announcement arrived with the latest poster of the film that has Sudeep posing with golden gloves.

The film also marks the debut of Krishna's home production, RRR Motion Pictures. In addition with Suniel Shetty and Sudeep, the film will have Aakansha Singh in the female lead, and Kabir Duhan Singh as the antagonist of the film.
Krishna has earlier directed Sudeep in the hit, Hebbuli (2017), and Pailwaan will mark the second venture between the director-actor duo.
