Box office: Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 earns Rs102.86 crore

Vikas Bahl's Super 30, starring Hrithik Roshan, made Rs3 crore yesterday, on its second Monday, as per figures shared by Boxofficeindia.com. But the film, which is a biopic on mathematician Anand Kumar, has crossed the three figure mark as its total collections have now reached Rs102.86 crore. 

As per our trade source, Super 30 is made on a budget of around Rs65 crore. Looks like the film is on the path of being a hit. Hrithik’s last clean hit was Krrish 3 back in 2013.

Super 30 has performed the best in Mumbai, earning as much as Rs32.50 crore.  

Hollywood animation film The Lion King had a good first Monday, making Rs7.75 crore. The film's four-day total stands at Rs61.75 crore. The way the film has struck a chord with the family audience gives it a good chance of doing well in the second weekend too. 

This Friday also saw the release of Jhootha Kahin Ka and Family Of Thakurganj. After a dismal first weekend, both films have hardly made anything on Monday.
