Sudesh Berry to make Marathi film debut with Khichik


The film will also star Siddharth Jadhav, Prathamesh Parab and Paula McGlynn.

Hindi film actor Sudesh Berry is all set to make his Marathi film debut with the movie Khichik. The film also stars Siddharth Jadhav, Prathamesh Parab, Anil Dhakate, Shilpa Thackeray, Paula McGlynn and others. 

The film has an unusual title which signifies the sound of clicking a photograph, will be directed by Pritam SK Patil and produced by Sachin Anil Dhakate under his banner Kantanand Productions. 

The makers have come up with an intriguing poster for the film that shows a child looking at a pamphlet with photos of four wanted criminals. 

While not much is known about the film, an official statement by the makers said, “The audience will get to see a unique story on relationships in this movie. It is a film that can be enjoyed by the entire family.” 

Berry was last seen in the Hindi movie Krina (2018). It was the last film of actor Inder Kumar, who passed away in 2017. 

McGlynn has acted in few movies including Pindadaan (2016) and Half Girlfriend (Hindi, 2017). Hailing from Canada, she is famous for being the CEO and performer in the popular Marathi digital channel Bharatiya Digital Party, known as BhaDiPa. 

Khichik is scheduled to hit the screens on 20 September.
