With the cricket ending, it was time for the showrunners to get back into the driver's seat. Amazon Prime Video released the first look of five upcoming Indian original series including the Abhishek Bachchan-Amit Sadh featured Breathe season 2, Richa Chadha's Inside Edge season 2, and the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer, The Family Man.

Abhishek Bachchan was cast among the main leads opposite Amit Sadh in the second season for the first Amazon Indian original series, Breathe. The actor replaces R Madhavan in the series, but it is not yet known if Bachchan's character will follow the outline of an antagonist as R Madhavan's did.

The success of Richa Chadha's Inside Edge has led to the second season of the series which revolves around the craze of cricket in India. Another interesting series is Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's The Family Man, which features Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani. The series will see Bajpayee portray an ordinary middle-class man who hides the secret of his being a world-class spy.

The video, set to the background of Beethoven's Ode To Joy, also has the addition of Bandish Bandits, and Kabir Khan's The Forgotten Army. Khan's series will be based on the INA led by Subhash Chandra Bose and will be set in the pre-independence period. The series is based on an outline for a 1999 documentary by Khan.

The launch comes as an accompaniment to the platform's Amazon Prime Day celebrations.
