The film went on the floors last month in Kashmir where the team has planned to shoot the introduction song and some important scenes.
The second schedule will take place in Hyderabad where the makers have erected a huge train set to shoot some important action sequences.
The film, which had its official launch on 1 June, marks the first collaboration of director Anil Ravipudi and Mahesh Babu. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady.
The project, to be produced by Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara, also stars Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu among others.
The makers have also announced that the film will hit the screens next year during Sankranti festival. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose music. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Mahesh’s last outing Maharshi (2019) has crossed Rs200 crore at the box office. The film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, features Mahesh in the role of a multimillionaire who takes up farming for the sake of his best friend.
Mahesh also has a project with Arjun Reddy (2017) director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the offing. Originally planned to be made last year, the collaboration was postponed due to Sandeep’s Hindi film commitment, Kabir Singh (2019).
