With former prime minister Manmohan Singh becoming the subject of a movie in The Accidental Prime Minister, it is time for his successor, Narendra Modi to have one of his own.
The prime minister of India will be the subject of Omung Kumar's next biopic, titled PM Narendra Modi. The lead role will be played by Vivek Oberoi.

The first poster of the film was launched today and captures the larger-than-life portrayal of the prime minister which led to his victory in the 2014 general election.
Vivek Oberoi has undergone a transformation with the white beard and hair. However, the actor's nose does appear prominent and is very different from the actor's natural look. The background of the picture is filled with a sea of hands, perhaps symbolizing the populist wave on which Modi won the 2014 general election.
The film is being produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh.
