Uri teaser 3: Focus on sniper emerging from the dark in the latest clip from Aditya Dhar's film

Based on India's now famous surgical strike in response to the terror attacks on the army base in Uri in 2016, the film is built around the planning and execution of the strikes.

Aditya Dhar's film Uri is slowly inching closer to its release date on 11 January. The latest teaser released by the makers of the film captures another key moment during the real-life inspired surgical strike.

While the film's main focus has been Vicky Kaushal as a commanding officer, the teaser shifts focus to his team. This time, it is the sniper who takes centrestage.

The visuals take place through the viewpoint of the sniper, and it puts a perspective on the different roles of the team members who work to protect each other through the pitch battle. Based on India's now famous surgical strike in response to the terror attacks on the army base in Uri in 2016, the film is built around the planning and execution of the strikes.

The small clip also brings back the jingoism that is a signature through the film's promotion with its line 'Tumhe Kashmir chahiye, aur hamein tumhara sar" [You want Kashmir, and we want your heads].

While the film ran into some trouble with the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) which asked one line to be struck down, the writers seem to have enough to keep the pumped up audience going.

Uri also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina in key roles.
