First still: Arjun Kapoor on the lookout for India’s Most Wanted

The first week of the new year has brought some new posters and teasers of the year’s upcoming films. After Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh, and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, starring Ajay Devgn, it’s the turn of the action thriller, India’s Most Wanted, to reveal their first still. 

In the Raj Kumar Gupta film, actor Arjun Kapoor plays a no-nonsense Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer who leads his team on a manhunt to capture India’s most wanted criminal. In the first photograph shared online, the actor is seen keeping a lookout for someone while on the chase of a terrorist in the film. 

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Gupta, the feature is inspired by a true-life story where the criminal was apprehended without any violence. India’s Most Wanted, which has been shot in India and Nepal, is due to be released on 24 May 2019.
