Remo D’Souza’s untitled dance musical boasts of an impressive star cast with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor playing the leads.
The film also has Nora Fatehi and dancers Shakti Mohan and Varthiak Jha in supporting roles.
Now, there is another interesting addition to the cast with Aparshakti Khurana joining the dance musical.
Khurana shared the picture above with D’Souza, Dhawan and Kapoor when he joined them for the Republic Day celebrations in Punjab.
The first schedule of the film is being shot in Moga, Punjab, with D’Souza filming a wedding song and a few sequences.

From the looks of it, Khurana is playing a Sikh in the film. The actor did not talk about his character but merely expressed delight at being part of the film.
"Really excited to be part of the dance franchise," Aparshakti Khurana texted to Cinestaan.com. "Wish I could dance in the film. Nonetheless it’s great to collaborate with Varun and Shraddha again. I have worked with Varun on Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) before and on Stree (2018) with Shraddha. I am sure I will have a great time."
While industry watchers have long suspected the film to be the third in the ABCD franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar has categorically denied that the dance musical is ABCD 3. Dhawan and Kapoor led the cast of ABCD 2 (2015) and director D'Souza would hope to reap the same success as he did with that film.
Khurana has had a successful last two years, making an impact in films like Dangal (2016), Stree (2018) and Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi (2018).
Remo D'Souza and his team are currently shooting in Punjab. In February they will head to London to shoot a substantial portion of the film there.
