Actor Aamir Khan gave a hint about his next project after the dud Thugs of Hindostan (2018), while speaking about his television documentary Rubaru Roshni, last week.
“I will come to know in one month. Actually I will only know the answer in one month. I haven’t 100% zeroed in on anyone. Actually this time I have quite a few stories [to choose from] [sic],” he said speaking about his next project.
When asked if he would also be producing it, the actor said, “Most probably, yes.”
Khan, who has put on weight currently, said it was because he hadn't been shooting lately. “So I was enjoying life... From 1 February, my diet and workout will begin, so I will start preparing for the next. In my next film also I have to look slim and lean," he added.
As he has already started losing weight for his next one, does that mean he already has zeroed in on his next? When this was pointed out to Khan, he laughed and said, “It’s one of two films, but in both of them I have to be lean.”
Khan is one of the judges for the Cinestaan India Storytellers Contest along with writer Anjum Rajabali, director Rajkumar Hirani and screenwriter Juhi Chaturvedi. During the announcement of the winners of the first contest in November 2018, Rajabali had accidentally revealed that Khan's next will be a film on the epic Mahabharata. Khan had then given him a stern look in reply.
