Who doesn’t love a good rain song? Well, especially since there are not many that we come across these days. The makers of the film Amavas have released a new track 'Bheege Bheege' after the disappointing 'Jab Se Mera Dil'. Composer Ankit Tiwari certainly gets it right with 'Bheege Bheege'.
The simple, but endearing lyrics are penned by Anurag Bhomia.
Lovers Ahaana (Nargis Fakhri) and Karan (Sachiin J Joshi) are drenched in rain and the lyrics nicely underline the duo's thirst for each other. Fakhri is stunningly captured by cinematographer. As opposed to 'Jab Se Mera Dil', we find passion in both Fakhri and Joshi, and the flames of passion cannot be doused even by the rain. Ahaana and Karan are addicted to each other, and that comes through well with the visuals and Bhomia’s lyrics.
The fine lyrics are backed by a soft soothing score by Tiwari. Though minimal, the melody has a groovy rhythm to it. The sensuous singing by Sunidhi Chauhan and Tiwari really grips your imagination. The duo emotes the passion of Ahaana and Karan through in their voices.
Strangely, we don’t see her credit in the song. Chauhan tweeted about this being her first song of 2019.
“The first month of the year 2019 brings along my first song of the year #BheegeBheege with super sensational @SunidhiChauhan5 It’s full of melody in the era of remakes. Let’s see https://youtu.be/96Drkeg2lHw @sachiinjoshi @NargisFakhri @itsBhushanKumar @Tseries, “ tweeted Chauhan.
