Kadaram Kondan teaser: Vikram’s age-defying new avatar will leave you in awe

On the auspicious occasion of Pongal, the slick teaser of Vikram’s upcoming Tamil action thriller Kadaram Kondan was released.

It introduces us to KK (Vikram), an expert in safe-cracking. He is also said to be very intelligent. This introduction is followed by stunningly choreographed action sequences backed by an impressive background score. We also get glimpses of Akshara Haasan and debutant Abi Hassan, son of veteran actor Nasser. The teaser also features some really impressive action.

The last shot of the teaser features Vikram in a Malaysian police uniform. There have been rumours that he plays an undercover police officer in the film, which has been entirely shot in Malaysia.

The film is directed by Rajesh M Selva and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International.

The film’s first look poster released last year went viral in no time. The poster had featured Vikram sporting thick salt-and-pepper beard and slick hairdo. Seen aggressively groaning and wearing shades, his hands are cuffed together before what appears to be a smoke backdrop.

During the launch of the project in August 2018, it was mentioned in a statement that this happens to be the 45th production of Raaj Kamal Films. The film, which will be dubbed and released in Telugu, has music by Ghibran.

Upon completion of this project, Vikram will gear up for the shoot of Rs300 crore magnum opus Mahaveer Karna, to be directed by RS Vimal, best known for helming Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015).
