The makers are yet to reveal the full cast list and we know so far that Kajal Aggarwal is on board as the leading lady. There have been rumours that Simbu and Dulquer Salmaan are also part of the project; however, the report still remains unconfirmed. There have also been reports that a Taiwanese actor has been roped in for a crucial role.
The news about Indian 2 was first announced during the first season of Tamil Bigg Boss, which was hosted by Haasan. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose music while Ravi Varma will crank the camera. To be made on a lavish budget, Lyca Productions took over the reins of the project from producer Dil Raju after he chose to opt out following reasons unknown.
The film will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
