Sandeep Kulkarni’s Dombivli Return to be a bilingual in Marathi, Hindi

While the Marathi version will be out on 22 February, the release date for the Hindi version has not been decided yet.

Director Mahendra Teredesai’s Dombivli Return was earlier supposed to be released in Hindi. But the makers have now decided to make the film a bilingual and also release it in Marathi. While the Marathi version will be out on 22 February, the release date for the Hindi version has not been decided yet.

The makers have released a teaser of the film which features the main lead Sandeep Kulkarni. He plays the character of Anant Velankar, just a face in the crowd in Mumbai.

The teaser shows his journey in a local train as he dreams of the various incidents from his past; most of which are disturbing. The way the teaser is cut doesn’t reveal the storyline of the film, except that it is a thriller. There are too many incidents flashed right through the one-minute footage. Hopefully, the trailer will make things clear.

Kulkarni is known for his act as Madhav Apte in the Marathi movie Dombivli Fast (2005), which was directed by Nishikant Kamat. Dombivli Return is neither a sequel nor in any way related to the 2005 movie. The film has been in the making since 2014.

Dombivli Return also stars Rajeshwari Sachdev and Siya Patil.
