The title of casting director Mukesh Chhabra's much awaited remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama, The Fault In Our Stars, has been renamed Dil Bechara. The film was initially titled Kizie Aur Manny. The film will be the directorial debut of Chhabra, and will feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead roles.

The film is a remake of the 2014 drama featuring Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley, which itself is an adaptation of the John Green novel, The Fault In Our Stars. Directed by Josh Boone, the film revolves around the story of a terminally ill cancer patient, Hazel, who falls in love with an amputee, Augustus.

The remake by Chhabra will have music by AR Rahman, and will also feature Saif Ali Khan in a supporting role. Khan is expected to play the role of Peter Van Houten, played in the Hollywood version by Willem Dafoe.

The film's production suffered a setback owing to allegations of sexual harassment against Chhabra. The casting director was suspended pending an initial inquiry by Fox Star Studios. The director is set to be reinstated following a clearance by the inquiry committee.

Dil Bechara is set to be released later this year.
