Arbaaz Khan confirms Kareena doing a dance number in Dabangg 3

While actors Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha will return to reprise their roles as Chulbul Pandey and Rajjo in Dabangg 3, news comes in that actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will once again dance in a special song.  

As per a report in Mid-Day, producer-actor Arbaaz Khan was asked about it at a media event and he confirmed that Kareena would be doing an item number.

The daily Deccan Chronicle had first reported about Kareena being part of the franchise again.

Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying, “'Munni Badnaam Hui' was a chartbuster in Dabangg and 'Fevicol Se' was a highlight in Dabangg 2. Keeping with the trend, it was important that there is a blockbuster number in the film and what better name than Kareena to add the oomph needed.”

The speculation around Kareena having a part in Dabangg 3 resurfaced after the Veere Di Wedding (2018) actress was spotted with Arbaaz at Juhu a few days ago. The duo happily posed for the photographers. 'Munni Badnaam Hui' [picturised on Malaika Arora] from Dabangg (2010) and Kareena's 'Fevicol Se' track from the second film had become chartbusters.

Dabangg 3 has taken a while to get going Arbaaz wasn’t ready with the script, while big brother Salman had other commitments. Salman is expected to wrap up Bharat (2019) in a month and likely to commence work on Dabangg 3 in April this year.

Choreographer-director Prabhu Deva is helming the third film in the franchise.
