The film is directed by veteran writer-director Aruna Raje, who has previously made off-beat films like Rihaee (1988), Situm (1984) and Gehrayee (1980).
Revolving around the trials and tribulations of contemporary modern day relationships, Firebrand stars Sachin Khedekar, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Usha Jadhav and Girish Kulkarni.
The poster hints at a married couple, played by Khedekar and Sachdev, seeking legal recourse. Jadhav is said to be playing a successful lawyer named Sunanda Raut, and Kulkarni plays her husband.
Chopra has previously produced Marathi films like the National Award-winning Ventilator (2016), and Kaay Re Rascalaa (2017).
Meanwhile, her next Hollywood venture as an actor, Isn't It Romantic, will also be released on Netflix on 28 February.
