Incidentally, this marks the first release for the director who has been in the filmmaking business for 14 years. Vasan Bala's Peddlers is also awaiting a release.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota marks the debut of Abhimanyu Dassani, son of the actress Bhagyashree, who plays a martial arts expert unable to feel pain.
Protected by his grandfather, he finally gets himself into a battle with a set of twins (played by Gulshan Devaiah), one of whom is a gangster while the other is a one-legged karate expert.
Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota was the opening film at the 2018 Mumbai Film Festival, and received a standing ovation.
