After making films like Halal (2017) and Lathe Joshi (2018), Amol Kagne Productions’ next is a romantic drama titled Perfume. Starring Omkar Dixit and Monalisa Bagal, the film is directed by Karan Tandale. The trailer of the film is just out.

We all have seen numerous deodorants and perfume advertisements where a woman is attracted to a man just because he smells wonderful. The same idea is explored in the film, as is evident in the recently released teaser.

A young girl (Bagal) is impressed by a guy (Dixit) and his perfume which she finds irresistible. The two keep meeting and fall in love. The girl appears to be from a rich family, while the guy doesn't.

Although the teaser gives an idea that the film is a soft romantic saga, it doesn’t seem to be the case. In a poster released last year, a violent angle was revealed as Bagal's character was shown holding the boy at gunpoint.

Perfume is Tandale’s directorial debut. The film also stars Sayaji Shinde, Chinmay Mandlekar, Abhijit Chavan, Bhagyashree Nhalve and Kamlesh Sawant.

The film will be released on 1 March.
