Amitabh Bachchan shares latest look from the sets of Brahmastra

While he plays the guide to Ranbir Kapoor's hero, the veteran actor's very urban look certainly caught the attention of social media users.

Rain, shine, or cold, Amitabh Bachchan continues to work hard on projects. The septuagenarian's latest post from the sets of Ayan Mukerji's upcoming, Brahmastra, saw him posing in some uber-cool glares. The actor plays the guide to Ranbir Kapoor's superhero in the epic fantasy film by Mukerji. The film is set to release sometime in 2020.

The picture from the sets captured Amitabh Bachchan in a very urban avatar, while Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in the foreground. While Bachchan is playing a guru to Kapoor's young man who transforms into a superhero, the older actor's avatar certainly caught fans off guard.

The actor also shared a blog post describing the difficulties of working in such chilly weather. Bachchan wrote on his blog,"The -3 degrees is a daunting task .. but the motivation to continue regardless is such a worthy approbation .. Protection from the chill winds .. protection from the chilled breezed eyes .. in attendance with that work force that caters to each little need .. is quite quite remarkable, laudable and deserving of praise."

Earlier in the month, Bachchan had contemplated 'retirement' sending fans into a frenzy. The actor had written, 'I must retire .. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another .. its a message'

For now though, Bachchan has Brahmastra lined up for 2020, as well as Shoojit Sircar's Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana coming up later in the year.
