Sumeet Raghvan, Urmila Kanitkar star in Saleel Kulkarni's Ekda Kay Zhala

Music composer Dr Saleel Kulkarni turned filmmaker with Wedding Cha Shinema (2019), which was released earlier this year. He has now started rolling out his next feature film, Ekda Kay Zhala.

Like Kulkarni's first film, this one also has an ensemble cast. Several well-known artistes like Sumeet Raghvan, Urmila Kanitkar, Dr Mohan Agashe, Suhas Joshi and Pushkar Shrotri will be seen in the film.

While not much has been revealed about the film's story, we are given to understand that Ekda Kay Zhala will also be an emotional story aimed at a family audience, just like Wedding Cha Shinema. And like that film, this one, too, will see Kulkarni donning the robes of writer and music composer as well.

Urmila Kanitkar will be seen in a mainstream Marathi movie after quite some time. Her last major role was in Ti Sadhya Kay Karte (2017).

Ekda Kay Zhala is slated for release next year.
