Sayali Sanjeev to star as the lead in Daah: Ek Marmasparshi Katha

Recently, actress Sayali Sanjeev bagged the lead role in the upcoming Marathi film Gosht Eka Paithanichi (2020). She has now bagged another movie where she is playing the main character. Titled, Daah: Ek Marmasparshi Katha, the film is directed by first-time filmmaker Malhar Ganesh and produced by Aniket Rajkumar Badole.
The makers have described the film as "a moving story that speaks about keeping relationships intact".
Daah also stars Suhrud Wardekar, Girish Oak, Radhika Vidyasagar, Yatin Karyekar, Uma Sardeshmukh and Kishore Chaughule.
The makers haven’t revealed the story of the film, but have released the film’s first poster. It has the close-up shots of Sayali and Wardekar. The poster also shows a group of people gathered in a village or small town. This gives an indication that the film might be about some social work or welfare of common citizens.
Apart from Goght Eka Paithanichi, Sayali has a line up of films including Aatpadi Nighs (2019), which releases this week, and AB Ani CD (2020).
The release date of Daah hasn’t been revealed yet.
