Jawaani Jaanemaan poster: Saif Ali Khan returns as a playboy

After playing the ferocious warrior Udaybhan Rathod in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) in early January, Saif Ali Khan will return to familiar territory with the comedy Jawaani Jaanemaan (2020). The film, which introduces actress Alaia F as his daughter, will now release on 31 January 2020. It was earlier due to be released on 7 February 2020.

The first cheeky poster of the Nitin Kakkar film shows a smirking Khan in bed with two women after a decadent night. Liquor bottles are strewn around him, and his apartment decor suits someone much younger than him, complete with a disco ball. He is shown wearing a 'Playboy' pendant and the tagline of the poster states 'New vibe for new decade'.

Early on in his career, Khan was noted for playing playboy characters in films like Yeh Dillagi (1994) and Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), but over the years has played against type with roles in Ek Hasina Thi (2004), Omkara (2006), Go Goa Gone (2013) and the recent Laal Kaptaan (2019).

Khan plays father to newcomer Alaia F in the Jawaani Jaanemaan. Tabu and Kubbra Sait are also part of the upcoming film.
