Kangana Ranaut at the heart of a happy family in Panga's new poster

Over the last week, the makers of Kangana Ranaut led Panga have been sharing new looks from the film. The latest one comes with the announcement of the trailer's release date. 

The poster features Kangana Ranaut, singer-actor Jassi Gill, and Badhaai Ho (2018) actress Neena Gupta, sharing a laugh as they enjoy time in what looks like a very middle-class home. 

The poster carries the tagline for the film 'Jo sapne dekhte hain woh #Panga lete hain. Inki family ki kahani hum sab se judi hai'. The film follows the journey of Ranaut's character who becomes a kabaddi player after being married and a mother. The makers of the film have stated that the trailer of the film will arrive on 23 December. 

The earlier images from the film focussed on Ranaut and her little family, portraying her as the smiling, coy mother. While one poster had the three of them together, another one focussed on Ranaut sitting and smiling coyly in the comfort of her home. 

Speaking about the film, director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari had told Mumbai Mirror, "Kangana had to put on some weight, but her body type is such that it doesn’t look extra on her. She immediately lost the kilos, but has put them back for her next. I don’t know how she does it over and over; I have difficulty losing even once."

The film will also feature Richa Chadha, along with Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta. Panga is scheduled to release in theatres on 24 January 2020, alongside Street Dancer 3D.
